Kat-ma-Koep quickly found that raising their awareness to travellers in South Africa's thriving tourism and accommodation industry a demanding endeavour for any company, particularly those in the oft forgotten sub-category of guest houses.

 

Kat-ma-Koep needed a way to engage with their specific target market. Background

Kat-ma-Koep Guest House is a South African owned company operating out of Vredendal in the Western Cape region of South Africa. Kat-ma-Koep tenders a convenient and homely escape for both holiday and business travellers in their moderately secluded short-stay guest house furnished to suit a rustic aesthetic with no shortage of modern conveniences. The guest house allows for the comfortable accommodation of twelve people at a time, and markets mainly to families and small groups on holiday.

Challenge

Already having a functional website helped sell their product to those who were seeking short stay in the Vredendal region. Kat-ma-Koep's unique challenge was to get as many interested clients considering guest house accommodation as an alternative to hotel/motel accommodation whilst also persuading customers to book with Kat-ma-Koep over their competition in Vredendal.

Our Solution

Yodel South Africa initiated a Google AdWords campaign for Kat-ma-Koep's existing website to cultivate qualified leads from Google users searching for accommodation in the Vredendal region and users searching for Guest Houses in the greater Western Cape region.
